Job Details

Purpose:  As a CANS/CAS Assessor, your purpose will be understanding the needs and abilities of the client and connecting them with services and care that will allow them to be a part of their community.  Each assessment is an individualized care program of the client with developmental disabilities.  It is critical for the quality of care and life for these individuals.

 

Assessments:  Each assessment will be conducted in-person and through virtual assessments throughout your designated geographic territory.  Throughout the years, you will have the ability to reconnect with clients to reassess their needs and see how your work has positively impacted their life.

 

Schedule: The position is 40 hours/week. You will have the flexibility to schedule meetings based on the client's needs and designated time for administration/case completion and travel.  You will conduct between 10-15 assessments/week.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree in a human services field

  • Minimum of one year post-educational experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities

  • Must meet in-field geographic coverage expectations (up to 5 days per week, within a 2 hour radius from candidate home)
